Origin Story
I started working out for high school football as a teen and received a D3 scholarship to play in college. Once I realized I was never going to play on Sundays, I became a powerlifter. I won 2 bench meets and benched 505 lbs raw. Shortly after, a couple bodybuilders in my gym told me I should be a bodybuilder and that I had great genetics for it. I couldn't do the bodybuilding diet at the time though, haha. But I tried and eventually got better at it. I worked for a few years as a personal trainer and took nutrition courses in college. I competed in my first bodybuilding show in 2000. I won the overall and was hooked ever since. 5 years after that I started helping others to get in shape and train for contests.
Built Different
I won 13 overall titles competing in bodybuilding. I was KY state champion and placed 2nd at the Universe. I earned 2 Pro cards and earned prize money as a Pro as well.
As I'm writing this, I have 62 pro cards as a coach, but that number is always rising as I continue to train and help people get on stage.
No Limits
My goal is to keep the muscle I have built and stay healthy/in good shape now that my competing days are likely over. Also, to continue getting better and better as a coach.
Financially, I have already reached the goals I had set for myself, but I am always striving for more.
