The Story Of Rich Piana's Success

“I’M HERE TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE AND LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT NO MATTER WHO THE FUCK YOU ARE, YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT.”

I grew up in low-income welfare housing. At probably 14 or 15, I started stealing shit from the 7-Eleven. This escalated a little and lasted until I was about 20. That was when I realized that despite how much I stole, I would not get ahead. So, it was about this time I ran into an older lady, a friend of the family. She sat down and started talking to me about mutual funds. At first, I didn’t know what the hell she was talking about. Then I got really intrigued. She told me if I did it right, I could retire in 10 years.

I had a job as a bouncer and not making much. This mutual fund thing made sense. She said I should go see my financial advisor, so I did. He gave me a plan, and I started making money. I became obsessed. I started doing my own research, and I’d spend hours investing. So, a stock started the day at $50 and rose to $56. They would go up and down all day. So, I’d buy at 50 and sell at 54. I was making good money doing this stuff. That was the start. Then, I bought my first house. After a while I sold that house, made some money, and bought a bigger house. So, at this point, I’m buying and selling stocks, and doing real estate.

Next, I went to Georgetown, Texas. I got a tip from a client of mine. I bought two triplexes and 3 houses. Then I hired a management company. And I was getting checks from the rent on these places. I still have those places and money is still coming in. Next, I started doing commercials. You know the Planet Fitness “dumb bodybuilder” commercials? That was me. I was doing commercials and a few movies, like Planet Of The Apes, making good money. Making a name for myself. Next, I got into sponsorship. A company told me I looked unique, I looked different from anybody else, and they wanted to use me.

They offered me a good deal. So now I’m traveling to the expos. I’m doing some videos. I’m getting known on a national level. And the thing just took off. I've always wanted to give people the truth. I spent all my teenage years buying weight gainers and protein powders. Spending my money on this crap. It took me years to realize that real bodybuilders eat like 8 meals a day. They eat good food. Not gainers and whey protein.

Then I started 5% Nutrition. I don’t make whey protein, or gainers. I make stuff like All Day You May, Kill It, 5150, and Full As F*ck. And I have other businesses planned. That’s how my mind works. You can never do enough. You can always become more successful. It's the same thing with bodybuilding. You have to be motivated to go to the gym. Stick to your eating. Do your cardio. You have to be motivated to kill it every day. So, I’m here to tell you that you can accomplish anything. Anybody can.

“IF I COULD DO IT, YOU CAN FUCKING DO IT.”
